Associations
Metropolitan Chicago Association of Square Dancers
MCASD is the local association of square and round dance clubs in the Chicagoland area.
At last count, there were 38 clubs in the association. MCASD sponsors several student
dances each year, as well as major dances in the fall and spring.

of virtually all dances within 200 miles (and some

State Council of Illinois Square Dance Associations
SCISDA coordinates activities on a state-wide basis between all nine associations in Illinois,
publishes the quarterly Touch a Quarter newsletter, and hosts the annual
State Convention
Northern Illinois Square Dance Association
NISDA is the association of just north of MCASD. Most of the NISDA clubs are in Lake County.
